Our whistleblowing procedure

Neoen has a zero-tolerance policy with respect to any form of corruption.

Neoen combats all types of corruption and any related behaviour likely to breach our code of ethics. This includes inviting or ordering a member of staff or a service provider to behave unethically.

Neoen has set up an external whistleblowing platform for employees and stakeholders to report anything they believe to be inappropriate or in breach of laws and regulations, including the code of conduct (applicable to Neoen employees only) and the Anti-corruption code of conduct.

Who is concerned?

All Group employees (on temporary or permanent contracts), whatever their function, field, or location.

Anyone who works with a Neoen group company as an intern, apprentice, temporary worker, or exclusive service provider.

Individual stakeholders affected by our business: contractors, clients, service providers, suppliers, subcontractors, people who live near our sites, NGOs, etc.

How does it work?

The whistleblower reports the incident, anonymously if so wished, by telephone or via the external platform.

All calls will be answered in the local language or in English.

Protection and confidentiality

How is the whistleblower protected?

No disciplinary action will be taken against a member of staff or anyone else who acts in good faith, even if the facts reported prove to be mistaken or if the report is not followed up. If the whistleblower believes they have been punished as a result of a report, they should report it using the same procedure.

Will the report remain confidential and anonymous?

Neoen undertakes the strictest secrecy regarding the authors of reports, their identity and the confidentiality of any documents provided.

Anonymous alerts are allowed, although not encouraged. They make it more difficult to handle reports diligently and to carry out a thorough investigation.

N.B.

  • Reports must be made in good faith.
  • Whistleblowers must directly witness the situation reported.
  • Whistleblowers must not receive any form of payment, directly or indirectly, in relation to their report.
  • Inappropriate use or abuse of the whistleblowing system may result in legal proceedings.
