Neoen announces the arrival of Louis Mathieu Perrin as CFO

Neoen (ISIN: FR0011675362, ticker: NEOEN), France’s leading independent producer of renewable energies and one of the fastest-growing producers worldwide, will welcome Louis-Mathieu Perrin as its new Chief Financial Officer from May 2nd, 2019.

He will take over from Serge Stepanov, who joined Neoen exactly five years ago and who has accompanied Neoen’s growth and transformation into a listed company.

Louis-Mathieu Perrin previously spent four years as CFO of Direct Energie, whose market capitalization was around €2 billion and whose main shareholder was Impala, which now owns a majority stake in Neoen. This orderly transition will ensure continuity at Neoen and follows the publication of results that demonstrate the company’s financial strength and strong growth.

Louis-Mathieu Perrin said: “I am excited to be joining Neoen. Renewable energies are now achieving grid parity, which is vastly increasing their potential, and the company has huge scope for growth. Neoen’s success over the last 10 years has been based on its ability to combine agility with rigorous analysis, and that will remain at the heart of our growth model. Neoen’s finance team has proven itself as consistently professional and proactive, and I am delighted to be joining it, working in pursuit of further success.”

Xavier Barbaro said: “We are very much looking forward to the arrival of Louis-Mathieu Perrin, who will bring us his expertise in energy markets and his experience in working for listed companies. I would like to offer my sincere thanks to Serge Stepanov, who has made an outstanding contribution to our company’s success, particularly with its IPO. Neoen is now an established energy producer while retaining its unique identity of being an independent energy producer that is 100% focused on renewables. We extend a warm welcome to Louis-Mathieu, with whom we will continue Neoen’s successful development.”
